The rules, before you need them
Rental guidelines, clearly stated.
Read this before requesting gear. Sending a request means you've read the booking, payment and return process below.
The booking process
Four steps, start to finish.
Check availability
Choose your gear and dates through the website. Booked dates are marked and overlapping requests are blocked.
Verify identity
Attach a clear photo of the front and back of your IC directly in the booking form. This is required before your request can be submitted.
Secure the booking
After the request is reviewed, pay the required deposit and send proof of payment to secure the booking.
Collect & sign
Pay the remaining rental amount on collection, inspect the gear and sign the rental agreement before handover.
The rules
What you're agreeing to.
Read these before paying the deposit. They protect the gear, the next customer's booking, and your deposit.
Deposit and cancellation
The deposit is refunded after all gear is returned on time and in the same condition. If you cancel three days or less before the rental date, the deposit is non-refundable.
Equipment condition
All equipment is checked before handover. You are responsible for returning every item and accessory in the same working and physical condition.
Storage and file transfers
Bring enough memory-card or storage capacity for your shoot. Rental hours do not include file-transfer time, and Lens Lepak is not responsible for transferring or storing customer footage.
Pricing
Published rental prices are fixed. Requests to substantially reduce or bargain down the listed price will not be accepted.
Late returns
Late returns are not allowed and will incur an additional charge based on the applicable daily rental rate.
Extensions
An extension is not automatic. Contact Lens Lepak before the return time; approval depends on the next booking and the additional rental fee.
After-hours handover
Pickup or return outside the agreed operating hours incurs an additional charge and must be arranged in advance.
Pickup location
Standard pickup and return are in Subang Jaya. Any other location must be requested and arranged in advance.
IC privacy
Attach a clear photo of the front and back of your IC directly in the booking form — this is required before a request can be submitted. It's stored privately, viewable only by Lens Lepak staff, and deleted automatically once your booking is completed, cancelled, or rejected. See our Privacy Policy for details.
